We have not yet been able to hire a nursery worker, so we are seeking volunteers to help care for our youngest children one Sunday per month during the 8:00 am and 10:30 am services and the Sunday School hour.  If you can serve, please let us know which Sunday works for you.  Thank you!

We are excited to introduce a new incentive program designed to encourage our children to joyfully attend Sunday Worship Class and invite their friends.  Our goal is to help children grow in faith, build friendships, and feel excited about coming to church each week - all while learning more about God's love in a fun and welcoming environment.

Each Sunday, children will earn raffle tickets by attending class. The raffle tickets will be entered into drawings for special prizes to be awarded the weekend after Easter.  Children who bring a friend will earn extra raffle tickets, and their guests will also receive a ticket as a warm welcome. We look forward to seeing our classrooms filled with smiling faces, growing faith, and joyful hearts!

Join us for a high-energy, aerobic, fun-focused fitness activity that combines dance routines with exercise set to music.

It's time for the Luminary Yard Sale! There will be household items, home decor, books, kitchen, cookware, furniture, sporting goods, hardware, small appliances, and kids items.

Clothing items from the Clothes Closet will be $1.00 each.

Portions of the proceeds will help fund church outreach and community projects.

The Youth will also have baked goods for sale!

Luminary Church leadership is pleased to announce they will sponsor youth (Grades 9-12) to participate in the 2026 Souled Out Summer retreat.  Reservations are due by February 15.  Registration fees include housing, meals, t-shirt, and Bible study materials.  Space is limited, so please contact the church office or Youth Leader, Denise St. John, to reserve a space for your youth.

Fundraising events will be announced soon to support Luminary sponsorship.  You may also donate to the church, and please include "Souled Out Summer" with your donation.

The Luminary Youth had a blessed and God-moving retreat under the guidance of Pastor David and Ms. Denise. Surrounded by kids their own age and God, they were phenomenal examples of their community. Their journey brought them closer to one another and to their Savior, Jesus Christ. The youth enjoyed their accommodations, the soul-stirring music, and celebrated when three of the youth took life-changing steps to get even closer to Jesus.

Thank you for the congregation's generosity, and a special shout out to Marcia and Brian for being rock solid chaperones.  The Youth are blessed in so many ways!

Luminary Church was proud to present a powerful and uplifting day to celebrate the amazing women God sees.  Gust Speaker Lorrie Bamford led attendees in a meaningful and entertaining discussion about how we view ourselves, and how God sees us.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch (served by some handsome men of Luminary), engaging breakout sessions, shopping with vendors, and the uplifting voices of Our Girls.

And a huge thank you to our volunteers who made this sale a success!  

The funds raised support individuals and the community in the Ten Mile, TN area.  This includes scholarships for high school graduates, community breakfasts and dinners, a clothes closet of gently used clothing, a food pantry with non-perishable items, financial assistance, furniture, household goods, student support, angel tree Christmas presents, and holiday food boxes.

Thank you to all who attended our Christmas Music Program on December 14, 2025.  Your presence made the event truly special, and we appreciate your support and enthusiasm.  We hope you enjoyed the performances and shared in the festive spirit with us.
