We’d love to meet you in person! Luminary Church gathers every Sunday at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM for worship, teaching, and community. Whether you’re an early riser or prefer a slower morning, there’s a place for you.

You’ll find our congregation is a welcoming blend of people from different backgrounds, denominations, and parts of the country. Ten Mile is a wonderful place to live and retire, and our church family reflects that diversity in the best way. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll be welcomed like family.

At Luminary Church, there’s no dress code—just come as you are. You’ll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to Sunday best, and everything in between. We care far more about your presence than your outfit.

On October 25, 2026, we will begin a 6-week study entitled "The Story of Reality" based on a video Bible study developed by Gregory Koukl. Koukl unpacks the story of our world through a wide-angle lens, introducing you to some of the most important questions every person must ask about life, death, the evil of this world, and why we are here. He tells the story of the Bible through 5 words: GOD, MAN, JESUS, CROSS, and RESURRECTION.

Beginning in 2027, we will study "Revelation - Eternal King, Everlasting Kingdom" by Jen Wilkin.

Prayer Meetings

Requests for individual prayers with a church member may be made on Sunday mornings at 10:02 am in the Sanctuary, and Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Library.

Schedule for Children's Church

Children’s Church at Luminary provides an amazing opportunity to learn the stories of the Bible through role playing. Silvia Mende uses a Children’s Bible, takes those stories and writes scripts in child-friendly words. She teaches the younger children the story while some older children review the story and practice their lines for role playing while dressed in costumes representative of the era. Thanks to the generosity of a very talented seamstress, Linda Dameron, and other donations, the church has costumes comparable to many theaters.

Let's get closer to God! Every other Sunday, the children will be having fun going on scavenger hunts, outside games and more. They will be winning prizes and learning more about God's words. If you know of some fun games to play, drop by! We are so excited to spend even more time with these amazing kids!
