We’d love to meet you in person! Luminary Church gathers every Sunday at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM for worship, teaching, and community. Whether you’re an early riser or prefer a slower morning, there’s a place for you.

You’ll find our congregation is a welcoming blend of people from different backgrounds, denominations, and parts of the country. Ten Mile is a wonderful place to live and retire, and our church family reflects that diversity in the best way. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll be welcomed like family.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

At Luminary Church, there’s no dress code—just come as you are. You’ll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to Sunday best, and everything in between. We care far more about your presence than your outfit.

TRUTH SEEKERS CLASS

Beginning May 17, 2026 - 6-week study entitled
"The Nehemiah Code" based on a video Bible study developed by O. S. Hawkins. The author draws on the book of Nehemiah to show that it is never too late for a new beginning when we look to God for help.

LAMPLIGHTERS CLASS

July 21 & 28 - Guest teach Linda Monk
July 5 - Beginning a 6-week study of Matthew, Mary Magdalen, the Samaritan Woman, the uneducated fiisherman he chose (Peter and Andrew), Paul and Phillip the evangelist. Could we add ourselves to the list as unlikely disciples?

Requests for individual prayers with a church member prior to the Sunday morning services may be made as follows:

First Service (8:00 am):
We will meet fellow pray-ers in the Sanctuary between 7:37 am and 7:52 am.

Second Service (10:30 am):
We will meet fellow pray-ers in the Sanctuary between 10:02 am and 10:20 am.

Schedule for Children's Church

Children’s Church at Luminary provides an amazing opportunity to learn the stories of the bible through role playing. Silvia Mende uses a Children’s Bible, takes those stories and writes scripts in child-friendly words. She teaches the younger children the story while some older children review the story and practice their lines for role playing while dressed in costumes representative of the era. Thanks to the generosity of a very talented seamstress, Linda Dameron, and other donations, the church has costumes comparable to many theaters.
